Spotlight on Service

City Church desires to be "an authentic community walking with God in our city." Being "in our city" means that, by God's grace, we play a role in addressing the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs that exist in the city of Gainesville. One of the implications of this is that we encourage our church community to serve our city.

In order to best serve our city, we encourage the City Church community to partner with existing organizations and entities in the Gainesville community that are already addressing important needs. Many of these organizations have major needs for volunteer support. In order to help the City Church community become aware of these needs, our Community Engagement Team works to complie an up-to-date list of service opportunities in the Gainesville area.
