Christianity Explored is an eight-session series designed for people investigating Christianity, new believers in the church, or seasoned Christians looking to deepen their understanding of the gospel and relationship with Christ. Looking at the Gospel according to Mark, it explores who Jesus is, why he came, what it means to believe in him, and how this transforms every area of our lives. By offering a deeper overview of Christian beliefs, it is also designed to better equip Christians in sharing about what they believe and answer some of the tougher questions friends may have about Christianity.
Because the format includes a shared meal and discussion, this is a great opportunity to invite friends who may be interested in learning about Christianity in a communal setting, while strengthening your personal belief in the gospel. This series can also serve as an introduction to Christian community before joining a Community Group.
When: 8 consecutive Wednesday Evenings beginning September 12th (6:30pm - 8:30pm) and a Saturday (Oct. 22nd) before session 7 to reflect on the series and hear a few Christian testimonies (9 total meetings). The last session will be a Q/A - discussion related to faith, Christianity, and the material presented throughout the series.
