Director of Community Engagement and Children's Ministry Co-Director
Fraleigh was born and raised in Tallahassee as a Seminole, but quickly changed allegiances upon starting at UF in 2017. Her time in Gainesville was deeply impacted by her role as a barista at Pascals Coffeehouse @ the Christian Study Center. Living life alongside fellow baristas, guided under the leadership of Dr. Richard Horner, she grew in her love for scripture and Christian thought (and coffee too of course). After graduating from UF with a degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences she began her work at City Church as an intern while completing a Masters program at UF in Sustainable Development Practice. Fraleigh’s fun fact is that she got to study Zulu during her Masters program (at a very beginning level…).
Fraleigh’s role at City Church has evolved over the years, continuing as Community Engagement Director after her internship and recently expanding her role to include Childrens Ministry. She has been a member of City Church for three years and has loved getting to learn from fellow believers of all ages and stages of life. She enjoys spending time in the lovely Gainesville outdoors with her husband Nico, cooking cross-cultural recipes, and *attempting* to cultivate their new backyard garden.
